Role overview
We want to seed our engineering team with amazingly talented ****software engineers who want to play a critical role in bringing our cutting-edge platform to market. As a founding engineer focused on front-end development, you will be responsible for architecting and developing an amazing user experience that defines the Tower brand. You will be working directly with the founders to define the product, the brand, and to lay the foundation for the engineering team.
What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end (design, develop, and implement) significant key parts of the product.
- Work on system architecture and ensure scalability, security, and high performance across the platform.
- Collaborate with a small, close-knit team and the company’s founders to define and implement a seamless user experiences.
- Contribute to the platform’s security, ensuring data integrity and protecting sensitive workloads.
- Mentor junior engineers and help shape the technical direction of the team and company.
What we’re looking for
- Experience building applications with a modern front-end Javascript framework with preference for React.
- Ability to build pixel-perfect, polished interactions as well as own (build and maintain) our component library.
- Strong product sense and experience driving amazing UX and product outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to partner with our customers in solving their problems.
- Unprecedented ability to partner closely with design to craft delightful user experiences.
Nice to have
- Proven, significant design sensibility of your own and strong opinions to match.
- Experience (and desire) to work on UX in venues outside of web exclusively (e.g. CLI UX).
