Role overview
As a technical product marketer, you will educate our data engineering and data science users about newly launched features, customer case studies, and product integrations. You will be responsible for driving the top of the funnel, generating and feeding customer leads into our Founder-led sales team. Previous experience with a technical audience is key to this role.
What you’ll do
- Generate customer leads for the Tower platform
- Drive Tower's online presence on Linkedin, YouTube, the Tower blog, and our newsletter, growing our audience and connecting prospects to Tower's pre-sales staff
- Book and periodically deliver speaking engagements at meetups and conferences
- Create educational courses for Tower users
- Engage with third-party podcasters and newsletter authors
What we’re looking for
- Ability to organize your work, produce content, and book engagements with minimal support
- A minimum of 3 years of previous marketing experience involving a technical audience: software engineers, data engineers, ML engineers or data scientists
- Solid portfolio of GTM deliverables: websites, events, booths, emails, videos, ads etc
- Significant startup experience as an early team member
- Excellent written & spoken English
Nice to have
- 5+ years marketing to a technical audience
- Familiarity with modern, effective demand generation tooling: Gen AI for content, AI SDRs etc.
